Have heroically died in Syria, “the Russian Rambo” daughter


The hero of Russia Alexander Prokhorenko, who was killed during a combat mission in Syria, posthumously became a father. The wife of a soldier gave birth to a daughter called violet. This was announced by the Governor of the Orenburg region Yury Berg. “While Sasha’s daughter performs its main job is eating and sleeping. But in a few years when she grows up, she will know what her father was,” wrote the head of the region.

25-year-old Alexander Prokhorenko was killed during the operation to free Palmyra on March 17 of this year. Being in the rear of the enemy – the militants of the banned terrorist organization ISIS – he caused the fire on himself, thus to eliminate surrounded his fighters.

The heroism of the commando was widely reported including in the Western media, where it was nicknamed the “Russian Rambo”.

The body of Alexander Prokhorenko was discovered in late April and delivered to Moscow. Soldier buried in the village Breast Orenburg region. Alexander Prokhorenko was awarded the title of Hero of Russia posthumously.
