The price of a barrel of OPEC oil fell to the lowest level since 2004

A barrel of oil OPEC on Friday updated at least more than ten years, writes “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”. On 29 July, the price had dropped to $38,97. The last time a fall of this indicator below $39 was observed in November 2004.

The average cost of a barrel of OPEC oil in 2016 is us $37.2. For comparison, in 2014, it cost $96 and 29. The cost of a barrel of oil OPEC is the average for raw material producing countries of the cartel (the Middle East, several countries in Latin America and Africa as well as Indonesia).

Meanwhile, the price of oil North sea Brent blend on the morning of Monday, 1 August, kept about $43.4 per barrel.
