Putin participated in the opening of the monument to Russian soldiers in Slovenia

Russian President Vladimir Putin in Slovenia took part in the opening ceremony of the monument to Soviet and Russian soldiers who died in the country in the two world wars.

The Russian leader and his Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor laid a wreath at the monument.

Made by Russian sculptors of the monument is a colonnade of eight different high diamond arrows, each of which is a silhouette of a crane.
