As told Life physicians, 87-year-old writer felt ill and lost consciousness. Relatives called an ambulance, but the doctors to help him failed.

Fazil Iskander was born in Sukhumi in the family of the former owner of the brick factory of Iranian origin. The author of the novel-epic “Sandro from Chegem”, the epic “Child Chica”, novels “Rabbits and Boas”, “Man and his surroundings”, “School waltz, or the Energy of shame”, “Parking man”, “Poet”.
