Aryev explained that in his opinion the presence of the Ambassador should indicate the normal and good-neighbourly relations between States. However, in the “occupation of the territories” such relations can not be, said the representative of the Ukrainian Parliament.

He said that in the current situation Russia in the Ukraine may provide temporarily d’affaires, not the Ambassador. Recall that currently the chargé d’affaires of Russia in Ukraine in the absence of the Ambassador is Sergei Toropov.

Note that the issue of consent to the appointment of the new Ambassador of Russia in Kiev is the responsibility of the Minister of foreign Affairs and the President of Ukraine. Official statement from Poroshenko on this issue has not yet been reported.

We will remind that earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin dismissed the Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov. It was also approved in the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs. There on Friday, the source said approved the candidacy of presidential envoy in the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal district Mikhail Babich to the post. Later, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has asked Kiev to this agrement to the appointment of Babich’s Ambassador to Ukraine, but the agreement has not yet been received.
