The scientist explained how to see shooting stars tonight


Chief researcher of the Department of studying of Galaxies and variable stars Yuri Efremov explained how to see the meteor shower, which will occur in the night from 29 to 30 July. This is a traditional annual flow of the South Delta Aquarids, peaking tonight. As reported NSN, the scientist noted that to observe the meteor shower will be just outside of Moscow, away from light. According to him, what we call shooting stars, in fact it is “small pebbles, and sometimes particles of dust, which… entering the earth’s atmosphere at very high speed” glow brightly and sometimes give the luxurious of the ponytails.

According to the scientist later 10-12 August is expected one more Starfall, more powerful – the famous Perseids.
