- The Cabinet will present to Putin the agreement on the deployment of aviation group in Syria
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a government resolution approving the agreement between Russia and Syria about the deployment of the aviation group of the Russian armed forces. Now, according to the same decree, the agreement will be presented to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to introduce in the state Duma for ratification.
A government resolution has already appeared on the official Internet portal of legal information. The agreement was published there in January 2016. It is concluded for an indefinite period.
In the agreement there is a statement that Damascus “takes up the responsibility for settling any claims by third parties in case of damages during the operation, the Russian air force in Syria.”
