The Cabinet approved the agreement with Syria about the deployment of Russian air group


On Friday 29 July was published the decree of the Russian government, signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s approval of the Agreement with Syria about the deployment in this country of the Russian air group videoconferencing. The resolution involves the transfer of the document of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to introduce in the state Duma for ratification.

The agreement was signed in Damascus on 26 August 2015. Earlier it was reported that it is on a permanent basis. The agreement involves the deployment of Russian air base at the airfield Hamim free.
