Russia has asked Kiev agrément to the appointment of Babich Ambassador


Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has asked Ukraine agrément (preliminary approval – ed.) to the appointment of the presidential envoy in the Volga Federal district Mikhail Babich to the post of Ambassador of the Russian Federation. Yet, according to Peskov, the agrement was not received.

“The necessary diplomatic procedures, including obtaining approval, are now in the process”, — said Peskov.

Earlier, the candidate Babych was approved in the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs.
