In the Kremlin commented on the recent high-profile reshuffles and appointments in the regions and Federal districts. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov explained that many former security officials who received the appointment, have the potential for further development. He also explained why Vladimir Putin abolished the Crimean Federal district and included Crimea in the southern Federal district.

As for today’s appointments of envoys and the acting governors in Russia, here “it is a personal decision of the head of state,” said Dmitry Peskov. According to Vladimir Putin, these people possess the necessary potential to continue the development of these regions, Peskov said.

In those departments where they worked, said Peskov, these people can obtain a solid experience in management. They have been run in those areas in their agencies that are relevant to economic activity to the economy, so they were able to get enough of a solid background from the point of view of management, told the press Secretary of the President.
He added that all these appointments have nothing to do with changes to the FSB and do not relate directly to elections. “This is a normal cyclical rotational work”, – said Peskov.
On the issue of unification of the Crimea and the southern Sands otetil, this was done in order to improve the management efficiency of the unit at the level of Ambassador. Press Secretary of the President added that there were many tasks that are similar from the point of view of what was the former Southern Federal district, and Crimea. “There’s a common point of growth, a similar set of problems,” stated Sands.

Referring to the resignation of Ambassador of Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov, Peskov confirmed that he has resigned and that the Kremlin expects the new Ambassador to Ukraine will be appointed soon, as soon as the necessary diplomatic procedures.Related posts:
