Paris and London called for an end to the siege of Aleppo

The foreign Ministers of France and great Britain Jean-Marc Ayrault and Boris Johnson following the meeting in Paris issued a joint statement in which “the strongest terms” condemned the siege on Aleppo Syrian government forces and their allies. The statement said that the siege of the 300-thousand city makes it impossible for the resumption of peace talks.

The Ministers also called on allies of the Syrian regime to immediately cease operations that violate the armistice agreement concluded in Munich and international humanitarian law.
