Davutoglu admitted that the su-24 was shot down in Turkey on his orders


The former Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkish fighter jets shot down a Russian su-24 in accordance with his order, reports Hurriyet Daily News.

Davutoglu explained that he was given orders to not about this particular aircraft, and the defense of the airspace of Turkey in General. The order was given in October, a month before the incident with su-24. It was written rules for the use of weapons which were instructed to shoot down any planes violating the airspace of Turkey. Davutoglu stressed that the decision was taken due to repeated violations of Russian planes of the borders of Turkey.

Davutoglu also said that today would take over this political responsibility.
