Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented briefly on an article in the German newspaper Bild, which with reference to American experts of the Atlantic Council said that Russia can invade Poland for one night.

The Russian government considers such allegations as “pseudoanalytic madmen,” said press Secretary, Dmitry Peskov, in response to a request to comment on the material of the newspaper Bild, reports RIA Novosti.
Previously, experts of the American analytical center Atlantic Council urged NATO to prepare for a possible conflict with Russia, which “is able to invade Poland in just one night.” The article noted that at the moment Moscow is not interested in direct confrontation with the North Atlantic Alliance, but in case of need can dramatically change their plans.
Analysts of the centre believe that we should be ready to any turns to in case of an emergency to be able to strike back. According to them, objectives may be the Moscow metro, a grid of St. Petersburg and Russian state TV channel RT.
In addition, said in the article that Poland should make it clear to Russia that in case of war, send in the Kaliningrad region “special forces to destroy strategically important targets, such as missile batteries”.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia Michael carpenter said that Russia could in less than 60 hours to capture the capital of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and NATO troops will simply not be able to prevent it.
At the same time Moscow has repeatedly stressed that Russia will never attack any of the countries of the Alliance. According to the head of the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, “NATO is aware of this, but just use the occasion to more equipment and the battalions to place as a guarantee that the US will continue to keep an eye on all of this clearing.”Related posts:
