The Sejm of Poland recognized the Armenian genocide by the Ukrainian nationalists Volyn massacre


The lower chamber of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) unanimously adopted a resolution according to which 11 Jul recognized day of remembrance of the victims of the Armenian genocide by Ukrainian nationalists in the years 1943-1945. Supported the initiative 423 MP and 10 abstained.

Earlier, a resolution adopted by the Polish Senate. Later, two of the relevant Committee of the Saeima approved the Ordinance, adding provisions on the establishment of crime scenes, the complete lists of the dead and their proper burial. The paper noted and retaliatory actions of the Polish authorities.
