The Russian was sentenced to 10 years in the United States for the export of microelectronics


Prosecutors in new York announced on Thursday that the court gave 10 years in prison, the Russian Alexander, Fishenko for illegal export of microelectronics, including that used for military purposes, in particular for equipping fighters.

According to “Interfax”, the court found that the company, Fesenko in Houston, stated as the production of traffic lights, actually produces nothing, but worked only with purchase of microelectronics and sending it to Russia.

Among the shipped products were analog-to-digital converters, microcontrollers and microprocessors. The material is said that these products are widely used for machinery for military purposes.

The prosecution has calculated that in four years the company Fishenko sent to Russia products for $ 30 million.
