The law on accession of the Crimea complained to the constitutional court


It claim Oleneva, A. G., quoted by RIA “Novosti”, is the first part of the article of law “About acceptance to the Russian Federation Republic of Crimea and education in the Russian Federation new subjects — Republic of Crimea and city of Federal importance Sevastopol”.

It States that since the adoption of the Russian Federation of the Crimea Ukrainian citizens permanently living in Crimea and Sevastopol, recognized by citizens of the Russian Federation.

An exception may be made if citizens within a month after the annexation of Crimea have expressed their desire to retain their previous nationality.

Media do not specify what in this article was the cause of the claim, but the complaint have been addressed in the constitutional court.
