Saudi Arabia has offered Russia to make the middle East stronger than the Soviet Union”

The foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Adel al-Jubeir said his country could provide Russia with a share in the middle East, which will make it stronger than the USSR.” He stated this in an interview with Politico. According to him, Russia can provide access to the markets of Gulf countries (we are talking about Saudi Arabia itself, as well as Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar). This investment opportunity will exceed the ones that are from China, he promised.

All this is possible under one condition, said al-Jubeir. Riyadh insists on the cessation of Russian support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
