Kiev does not receive billions of Yanukovych

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine said that in 2016 the funds of former President Viktor Yanukovych are unlikely to be confiscated in favor of the state.

“I would like that to happen this year, but it no longer seems realistic”, — quotes words of the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk, the Agency UNIAN.

Danilyuk noted that the funds seized from Yanukovych and his entourage, it is a legal way to confiscate in favor of the state, noting that “they must work for the people.”

“This year has already been pledged 7.7 billion hryvnia from specefically. This approach to budgeting, when we are laying, and then don’t get stops,” added the Finance Minister.

According to TASS, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine failed in the last session, zavershivshiesya July 15, to consider and adopt the draft law on special confiscation in favor of the state of assets derived from corruption.

In the case of adoption it would return to the budget arrested money representatives close to the former President of the country and send them to the defence contracts. The volume of the arrested assets Yanukovych and his associates reaches $ 1.5 billion.
