The Commission of the Polish Sejm approved a resolution recognizing the genocide of the Volyn massacre


Two of the relevant Committee of the Polish Sejm supported the Senate resolution on the recognition of the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists in Volhynia in 1943-1944 genocide. The document proposes to consider the National day of remembrance of the victims of the genocide on July 11. The deputies added to the resolution a paragraph on the establishment of places of fratricidal crimes and compiling a complete list of victims.

Polish deputies in the document referred to retaliation of the authorities of Poland, thanking those Ukrainians, who risk of their lives helped the poles. They propose to award the state awards.
