June 2016 announced record-breaking hot

A group of researchers from the us national oceanic and atmospheric administration NOAA, said that last June was the hottest, at least since 1880, that is, in the entire history of observations. As high as this year, the average temperature worldwide has not yet been in recent history, experts say.

June 2016 has already become the 14th month in a row declared the hottest in the history of observations. The average global temperature, according to the researchers, amounted to 16.4 degrees Celsius, almost a degree above average values for the entire twentieth century. Thus 15,5 degrees below the average June temperature has not gone for 34 years, and lately each year 2014, 2015 and 2016 — bring a new absolute record.

However, the unprecedented high temperature not became for scientists a complete surprise — that the summer of 2016 has a chance to become the hottest in history, experts said in the middle of winter, shortly after a record warm was declared the year 2015. As suggested by the climate scientists, its role in never prominent global warming play of natural factors and human activities. Among the “natural” reasons are such factors as natural phenomenon called El niño (the warming of the surface water layer in the Equatorial Pacific ocean), as well as a number of recent natural disasters, including forest fires.

By the way, the peak influence of El niño on the warming should pass soon, it is therefore likely that in 2017 the Earth will “rest” from the temperature records. However, in subsequent years, in all probability, the temperature will again rise.

As for the last half of 2016, he likely will become the next hottest on record, experts predict.
