Scientists have talked about the harmful effects of TV on children bones


In children, adolescents and young people under the age of 20 years, weak bones and develop various diseases of the skeleton, if they devote too much time watching different programs. Especially much TV viewing affects those children who devote this lesson to more than 14 hours a week.

The study involved thousands of children and young people, whose age ranged from 5 to 20 years. The parents of the younger of the participants told the researchers how much time their children spend on average watching TV. Those participants who were older, talked about their habits related to watching television, on their own. As a result, the study participants were divided into three categories — about 20 percent of them watched TV less than 14 hours a week, about 40 percent — more than 14 hours, and the other year devoted to watching television, more and more, breaking the established scientists of the “border” immediately.

Specialists explain that they discovered the relationship that children and teenagers who spend too much time watching TV, first, in General, less active, and second, most are in the seated and supine position, which affects the formation of their bones.
