Zakharov: statement by Prime Minister of Montenegro on “Russian propaganda” is destroying friendly relations

The Russian foreign Ministry reacted to the statement by the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic about “Russian propaganda”, which, he believes, is addressed to those who are “stuck in the retrograde past.” Recall that in may began the process of integration of Montenegro in NATO.

In the words of Djukanovic Moscow sees intonation, familiar from the statements of NATO leaders, said the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. In her opinion, the Prime Minister of Montenegro once again caved in” to the leadership of the military Alliance.

“Mr. Djukanovic openly and explicitly implementing a policy on the deliberate destruction of the traditionally friendly relations between Montenegro and Russia”, – said Zakharov.

Note that the Djukanovic believes the rapprochement between NATO step for the security of the country, and not against anyone. In particular, Montenegro vs traditional friendship with Russia and the proximity to Serbia, he stressed.
