Pichugin declared the innocence of the interrogation to the FSB


Lawyer Ksenia Kostromina, said that her client’s former head of security service of Yukos, Alexei Pichugin, who was sentenced to life in prison for organizing the murder, was questioned by the FSB. He maintains his former position, considering himself an unlawfully convicted person and is not implicated in the crimes with which he was charged, the lawyer told TASS.

Earlier media reported that Pichugin was transferred from the colony “Black Dolphin” in Moscow to hold him for investigation of the murder of Nefteyugansk mayor Vladimir Petukhov in 1998.
