He said this to journalists after he Astakhov returned to work from vacation, which is reported in his instagram, he spent in the Crimea. The wording Peskov was quite vague: “it is understood that after the release of the holiday will be granted his request for resignation”.

Recall that before release, the media reported that Astakhov has written a resignation at own will in connection with the conflict of interest that allegedly arose from the business of his son.

The Ombudsman has long refused to confirm this information, stating that in the Petrovsky post it is experiencing the Lord. In the end, however, the official statement about the planned resignation Astakhov has already made the Kremlin.

Peskov today said that candidates for the post of children’s ombusdman yet earlier in the Duma was proposed for the post of Senator from the Omsk region Elena Mizulina, citing the possible appointment of her “animal” care about the children.

In addition to Mizulina, called the other candidates, particularly Elizabeth Glinka.
