A referendum in Abkhazia officially declared invalid

Relevant information was announced by the Chairman of the Central election Commission of the Republic of Batal Tabagua after the preliminary counting of all ballots and the study of protocols of precinct and district election commissions, adding that a referendum declared invalid because of the extremely low voter turnout.

“The turnout was only 1.23% or 1628 people, most of whom voted against the early elections of the President of the… For early elections voted 46,07% against – 46 to 74% of the electorate. 117 ballots invalid,” he said.
