Russian foreign Ministry: “demonizing” Russia, NATO concentrates on the non-existent threat


The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova believes that NATO is opposed to false calls – in particular, focusing its efforts on the containment of the non-existent “threat from the East. With this statement she made at the end of the NATO summit in Warsaw, whose results are analyzed in Moscow.

Zakharova noted the imbalance in the amplification of the flanks of NATO. So, the Alliance sends troops to Eastern Europe instead of having to confront the “unprecedented” scale of the terrorist threat from the South, she said.

Foreign Ministry spokesman also felt that excessive attempts at demonizing Russia”, the purpose of which she called the provoking of crises and tensions.
