In Berlin, police were injured in clashes with left-wing activists


Several guards were injured in Berlin, where on Saturday evening, left-wing activists held a protest demonstration against the eviction of squatted empty buildings. The exact number of victims and detainees to be confirmed.

According to local media, the demonstration was attended by about two thousand activists. At first they were peaceful, but after a while the police flew stones, bottles and flares.

To restore order the police had to use tear gas and water cannon that in Berlin is considered an extreme measure.
