In his article published in The Wall Street Journal, Poroshenko said that today, no one state-member of NATO has no combat experience with modern armed forces of the Russian Federation.

According to the Ukrainian President, “aggression” of Russia against Ukraine is an aggression against the entire Western world. In this regard, he urged the Alliance to consider the experience of the APU.

Poroshenko also said that his actions in the Donbas, the Kremlin is trying to exert pressure on the West to sow discord in its ranks.

“Only an in-depth partnership between NATO and Ukraine will ensure stability in the Ukraine, in Eastern Europe, the Black sea and in the transatlantic region as a whole”, – said the Ukrainian President.

Note that the Poroshenko article was published before the NATO summit in Poland, which will be officially announced the deployment of additional contingents of the bloc in Eastern Europe.

About a month ago in Poland began a large-scale exercise of the Alliance, where troops practiced amphibious assault as part of an operation to counter “Russian aggression”.

The Ukrainian President visited national guard soldiers and ate them with soup. The corresponding video Petro Poroshenko posted on his page on the social network. A number of Russian media, including “News”, claimed that the video was published with the bills. Supposedly in the original video you can see that at some point one of the soldiers praised the “great Russian borsch”, which Poroshenko involuntarily choked.

Combat maneuvers of the Alliance has caused a bitter smile in the Western media: for example, the Huffington Post literally on the fingers explained why in the case of actual combat in the centre of Poland the Russian army was easily routed to the NATO group.
