As explained Lyashko, the strike was a response to the failure of the bloc of Petro Poroshenko” and “popular front” to create a Commission of inquiry on the tariffs for gas and utilities, as well as for corruption crimes with the use of offshore by high-ranking officials.

On Tuesday, the radicals and deputies of the “Batkivshchyna” blocked the rostrum of the Parliament and disrupted a session of Parliament. For this reason, the Parliament could not resume session on Wednesday.
