At a meeting of the Moscow government Presidium mayor Sergei Sobyanin gave instructions on the organization of video surveillance at all polling stations in the Duma elections, which will take place on September 18. Moscow thus became the first Russian region, announced the video surveillance in the elections to the State Duma. (On the day of voting in the capital will open about 3 600 polling stations).

The mayor recalled that the priority of the “United Russia” – is an honest and transparent elections, and in this regard, today the city authorities made the decision on the live video from the polling stations. Sobyanin said: “We are continuing this tradition the first year”.
Also, the mayor supported nominated by the Public chamber of Moscow the initiative to create a mission monitoring the vote. This is also a continuation of the tradition: public headquarters acted at the election of the mayor of Moscow (2013) and in Moscow (2014). The work was coordinated by the representatives of the Moscow Public chamber, operated a call center with a “hotline” to receive complaints from voters.
According to the mayor, the headquarters will provide systematic monitoring process.
