Parkland Yelagin island has become an ideal platform for numerous European artists: from the headliners of the first day of Crystal Castles and the well-known plant 5’nizza, to Petersburgers Pinkshinyultrablast, the promising Russian shoegaze scene, and authentic musicians Echo & Tito feat. Malox, which became unconditional ornament of Israeli courts or unexpected discoveries like a group of actor Yevgeny Tsyganov “Pokepet”.

Suddenly its mark on the music program put the performance of the national team of Iceland in the European Championship on football. The sudden interest in all Icelandic added excitement to the performance of the group Sigur Rós. Began his speech with a presentation of the new song “Óveður”, jónsi Birgisson, Georg and Orri performed seems to be the most anticipated by fans of the song. We started with the title tracks of the latest album “Kveikur”, complements of their iconic songs in brand new arrangements, and concluded the most powerful “Gong,”drew the entire audience in front of the stage in silent admiration.

And although everyone loved the team lost in the quarterfinals of the European Championships, the French (playing the good costeffectively the public seriously slaveparamlength the concert), perhaps each of the guests on “STEREOLETO” eventually managed to separate the feeling of a great holiday and a touching belonging to little Iceland.
