Chief editor of Ukrainian radio station was fired for mocking the death of the Thriller singer Slipka

The leadership of the Ukrainian radio station “Radio News” sacked the chief editor Irina Gavrilova, which was previously accused of “separatism” and mock the death in the Donbass Opera singer Vasily Slipka previously joined the militants “Right sector” (an organization banned in Russia).

In turn, the management of the radio station were quick to dismiss the chief editor, stating on his page in Facebook that the opinion of individual journalists and employees do not always coincide with the opinion of the publisher.

Slipak, previously about 20 years sang at the Paris Opera, with the outbreak of hostilities joined the “Right sector”. He was eliminated at the end of June in the Donbass.

Later a militiaman with the call sign Sailor said that he killed Slipka shot from a sniper rifle, as he fired a machine gun at the DNR. Recently Ukrainian fighters said that he had tracked down and killed sailor.
