Medvedev about the return of Turkey to the Russian market: many niches are occupied

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in interview to the program “Vesti on Saturday” with Sergei Brilev commented on the return of Turkey to the Russian market and the possible treason of the strategy of development of the economy in the interests of specific States, including Turkey.

According to the head of the Cabinet, any decisions about the removal of certain market participants for the sake of Turkey will not be accepted: “Everything will remain as it is,” said the Premier, noting that “some economic niches were occupied by other countries”

Medvedev recalled that Turkey before the fall of 2015 took up to five percent of Russia’s foreign trade. “This is a huge figure actually. However what happened, happened,” — said Medvedev.
