Turkey hopes to euroalert with Russia to $100 billion

In mind the beginning of the warming relations between Ankara and Moscow, Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu expressed hope that now the trade turnover with Russia can be increased to $ 100 billion. This assumption was expressed in a paper which publishes “Kommersant”.

He said that the locomotive of the Turkish-Russian relations are energy, economy and trade. According to him, if in the early 2000s, the volume of bilateral trade reached $ 5 billion, then he has skyrocketed to $ 40 billion. For doubling that figure, said Cavusoglu, the countries have the “all opportunities and necessary potential.”
