Poroshenko awarded the deceased in the area ATO Opera singer the order of Courage


Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed on Thursday evening a decree awarding an Opera singer Vasily Slipka the order “For courage” posthumously. We will remind, earlier it became known that Slipak joined the banned in Russia “Right sector” came to the area ATO under Lugansk. There he was killed by a sniper shot early on Wednesday morning. Before the trip to the ATO zone Slipak was an Opera singer and performed at the Paris Opera.

The text of the decree States that Slipak awarded for “personal courage in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people”, transfers “Ukrainian truth”.
