Shoigu sacked the commander and chief of staff of the Baltic fleet


The Russian defense Minister, army General Sergei Shoigu on the results of the initiated inspections of the parts suspended from duty commander and chief of staff of the Baltic fleet.

As they say the control message of the press service of the defense Ministry, officials punished “for serious shortcomings in the organization of combat training, daily activities of troops (forces)”, and also for failing to take the necessary measures to improve conditions of accommodation of personnel, lack of concern for subordinates and distortion in the reports of the real state of Affairs.
