Russia drastically increases air reconnaissance in Syria


At Syrian airbase Hamim landed the newest aircraft integrated intelligence Tu-214Р. Apparently, apparatus with such capabilities is just not enough the group of the Russian HQs in Syria.

As it became known on Tuesday, Hamim on airbase in Syria arrived on the eve of the newest Russian aircraft integrated intelligence Tu-214Р. Reconnaissance aircraft of Russian air force flew from the airfield of the Kazan aircraft plant. The path ran over the Caspian sea, via airspace of Iran and Iraq.

Experts believe that the Tu-214Р will be able to control the entire ground situation in the region. Naturally, he has a better navigation system. This is a more modern modification of what we had before. Other experts note that Russian aviation is experiencing an acute shortage of means of target designation for the application of precision-guided weapons – in fact, this role can play only electro-optical systems “sycamore” new bombers su-34. “There is no targeting and the currently used Russian blah BLAH. According to the blog of the research organization “Center for analysis of strategies and technologies,” in Hamim arrived Tu-214Р with the registration number RF-64514, serial number 42305014, serial number 514.
