Erdogan commented on his letter to Vladimir Putin


Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke out on Monday evening in Ankara. In his speech he referred to the reports written a letter to the Russian President Vladimir Putin with words of regret for the death of the pilot of the su-24 and with the offer of renewed cooperation.

According to TASS, Erdogan said that he did this in order to “remove this negativity from our relationship.”

He added that he hopes for a quick normalization of relations with Russia.
