CPSU Syrian opposition called on the EU to impose sanctions against Russia

The official representative of the Higher Committee on negotiations (CPSU) Syrian opposition Basma Kodmani called for the EU to impose targeted sanctions against Russian companies involved in the supply of arms, and involved some indiscriminate bombing, reports Reuters.

According to her, she didn’t understand why the EU considers Syria less important than Ukraine, because the Ukrainian events against Russia imposed sanctions.

Kodmani believes that easing the pressure on Russia is a sign for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the fact that his government may again begin to play a role on the international stage.

At the same time Kodmani did not specify which Russian companies there is a speech.
