The Kremlin said the “turbulent and unpredictable” time after Brexit

Press Secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov urged not to draw direct Parallels of a British exit from the EU with the collapse of the Soviet Union.

He reminded that Russia was a very difficult period, when the country went through the collapse of the Soviet Union and many generations distinctly remember this time of uncertainty.

He called unreasonable to draw Parallels with the process of Brexit, but agreed that “turbulent and incomprehensible, unpredictable time are obvious.”

“We know that in the history of different countries these times are” — said Peskov.
