The Italian Senate will consider recognition of Crimea as part of Russia

To the Senate of Italy submitted to vote resolution on lifting sanctions against Russia and the recognition of the Crimea part of Russia. In the beginning of the month for the gradual abolition of anti-Russian sanctions by the French senators.

The author of the resolution was Senator from the party of “Northern League” Paolo Tosato. Vote to be held on June 27 immediately after the speech of the Prime Minister of the country Matteo Renzi, reports TASS.

The text of the document coincides with the project that was previously approved by the regional Council of Veneto. The same vote shall also go through in the councils of Liguria and Lombardy.

Note that the “Northern League” (also known as the Northern League for the independence”) – a political party, advocating for the granting broad autonomy to the Northern provinces of Italy with a view to create in their territory an independent state of Alania with its capital in Milan.

Head Matteo Salvini two years ago created in the Italian Parliament a group called “Friends of Putin”, which began to push through the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions.
