Luzhkov became a Trustee Komoyedov of the Communist in the Duma elections


The former mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov will take part in election campaign at elections of the Deputy of the State Duma of the seventh convocation. He officially became a Trustee of the candidate from the Communist party, Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov.

“You have permission to use my statements, photographs, archival films and other works with my participation, including books for pre-election campaign”, – stated in the letter from the former mayor of the capital, the passage quoted by “Interfax”.

Komoyedov tops the lists of Communists in the Kaliningrad oblast, Sevastopol and the Crimea. The Federal list of the Communist party headed by party leader Gennady Zyuganov. Elections will be held on 18 September 2016.

Short years in 2010 Yury Luzhkov was dismissed as mayor of Moscow by Dmitry Medvedev, who then held the post of President of Russia. Prior to this he was head of the city administration for 18 years.

In October of last year eks-the mayor gave an interview to MK, in which he said he was happy with his life and not going to return to politics.
