Peskov confirmed that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin received a message from the Turkish leader, in which Erdogan “expressed its interest in resolving the situation”.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his sympathy and deep condolences to the relatives of the dead Russian pilot Oleg Peshkov. The message of Erdogan contains the word “sorry”, said Peskov.

Also the message says, it’s an ongoing investigation against a Turkish citizen who “is associated with death of the Russian pilot”. (Recall that in this case, the Turkish court dismissed Alpaslan Celik under recognizance not to leave).

Erdogan reminds in his letter that the Turkish side has assumed all the risks and made a lot of efforts to take the body of the Russian pilot of the “Syrian opposition” and transfer it to Russia.

“Organization predohranaa procedures were conducted in accordance with the religious and military procedures, – said the President of Turkey. – All this work was done at a level worthy of the Turkish-Russian relations”.

In the letter, the text of which is posted on the Kremlin website, Erdogan calls Russia a friend and a strategic partner and said that the Turkish authorities “never had the desire and deliberate intention to bring down a plane belonging to the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Turkey, Binali Yildirim stated that there are excellent results on the normalization of relations with Russia and soon it will be announced to the public.
