The operation to block Maritime traffic between the Crimean Peninsula and mainland Russia failed because of the greed of Lenur Islyamov. The businessman bought to sabotage the ship too old, and at some point, the motor of the boat broke.
The FSB questioned Ernest Ablesimov – one of the fighters of the so-called Crimean Tatar battalion of a name of Noman’s Chelebidzhihan willing to sabotage in the Kerch Strait. According to Ablesimov, fighters islamskogo battalion has trained 60 steel cables with a length of 20 meters, which is attached to the floats from foam. The cables had to be taken in the Kerch Strait on a fishing boat and dump the water in a chaotic manner. It was assumed that they wound up on the screws plying in the Strait ferries.

After the failed attempt of sabotage Ablyazimov voluntarily surrendered to the Russian authorities and was for that reason exempted from criminal liability. He gave video training saboteurs to journalists of NTV and the FSB in the Crimea.
Meanwhile, the islyamov, which had promised to make a naval blockade of the Crimean Peninsula, has denied any involvement in the preparation of sabotage in the area of construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait. “What are we, children?
