UK residents have created a petition to hold a new referendum

In the UK collected more than 420 thousand signatures in support of a new referendum on the country’s withdrawal from the European Union.

“We, the undersigned, call on the government to apply the rule that if you voted for or against the EU membership less than 60% and lower 75%, that should be held another referendum,” – said in the text of the petition posted on the website of the British Parliament. It is noted that among the signatories of the appeal, most of the inhabitants of London.

Supporters of a British exit from the EU won a victory in a referendum on June 23.
