The US stock market closed with a fall in the backdrop of the referendum in the UK


The stock market in the United States closed a record for the last 10 months the collapse in the background of the referendum in the UK. This is evidenced by the data of trading on the American stock exchange, according to Bloomberg.

It is noted that the Dow Jones index is the main indicator of business activity in the United States – dropped by 3.39% to 17 399,86 points. The S&P 500 index, which includes the 500 largest companies in the American market, fell to 3.60% and amounted to 2037,30 points. The index e of the NASDAQ fell by 4.12% and amounted to 4707,98 points.

The results of the referendum on June 23, 51,9% of Britons voted to secede the United Kingdom from the EU, opposed by 48.1 percent.
