- Steinmeier: the EU needs to avoid revenge London after Brexit
Remaining in the European Union of 27 countries after the vote on the referendum in the UK should not retaliate against London, said the foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The German foreign Minister stressed that the EU should focus on issues of security, economy and the solution to the immigration crisis.
According to him, one of the key issues for European leaders will struggle with high unemployment among young people.
We will remind that on 23 June the referendum was won by the supporters of Brexit (a British exit from the EU).
