Kirov Governor Nikita Belykh charged with bribery


The Governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh accused of receiving a bribe in especially large size.

Saturday morning at the detainee on the eve of the Governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belyh has started in court.

He was charged with receiving a bribe in especially large size (part 6 of article 290 of the criminal code), reported the official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin.

On the eve it became known that the detectives took White red-handed when receiving 400 million euros (24.1 million rubles from the representatives of JSC “Novovyatskiy ski works” and “Forest management company”, which he effectively controlled.

ACCORDING to the investigation, this money White promised the companies “General patronage and connivance in the service in the implementation of the government of the Kirov region in monitoring the progress of implementation of investment projects by companies and the conduct of business activities in the region.

According to Markin, has already conducted searches in administration of the Kirov region.

The investigators intend soon to go to court with the petition for election concerning the White of a measure of restraint in form of detention.
