The Federation Council has told about the negative consequences of Brexit for Russia


A British exit from the European Union in the long term may have negative consequences for Russia, says the head of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev.

According to his calculations, the final Kingdom’s exit from the EU will happen in about seven years, as required consultations and formal procedures will take time. All this could trigger a further disintegration of the European Union. So indirectly Brexit will affect Russia, and gives the point of view of Kosachev Life.ru.

“If the EU will sink in their own problems to usher in a period of crisis, this will affect our trade relations,” – said the Senator.
