Estonian conservatives proposed to discuss the country’s withdrawal from the EU after Brexit


After the results of the referendum on the British exit from the EU on similar thinking and voting in Estonia. As writes portal Postimees.ee to reconsider relations with the European Union urged leader of the conservative people’s party of Estonia (EKRE) Martin Helme.

First he offered to hold a public discussion, which in the long term could serve as the basis for the holding of a referendum on Brexit example. “Now this referendum nothing would show,” said Helme.

The helm on behalf of the Estonian conservatives welcomed the decision of the British to withdraw from the EU, calling the decision a landmark for the “restoration of democracy and sovereignty of peoples in Europe.”
